This Christmas season, I’m bringing you 4 seasonal cookies with classic holiday flavours and lightly spiced caramelized walnuts for a sweet pick me up, which the family recipe card calls “Nutcracker Sweets.” 🎄
 
🫚 The Gingersnaps from last year are making a return appearance, scaled down to 3 bites of sweet and spicy goodness.
🍫 Fudge Crinkle Cookies (what my family always called Moka crinkles despite the absence of any coffee) deliver double chocolatey goodness.
🌼 Butter Spritz Cookies are this years take on shortbread with a little more give, buttery flavour and one of many classic spritz cookie shapes, made with the same cookie press my mum always used.
🤶🏻 And last but not least, Pistachio Drop Cookies with a browned butter icing that are nutty and sweet and an instant classic.
